As innkeepers serving in a centre of refuge and safety for all people, we lovingly look after those entrusted to our care until the Lord Jesus returns

What We Believe In

Father, Son & Holy Spirit

There is one God, who created all things and self-exist eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the Christ prophesied about in the Old Testament. Jesus is the Saviour of humanity from our sins. Jesus is fully God, manifested fully as a man conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary.

The Bible is inerrant and the inspired Word of God from which we uncover God’s purpose for people, nations, and places. The Bible is the authority for every Christian’s walk with God, personal lifestyle and conduct in the community.

Water Baptism and Baptism in the Holy Spirit are biblical and distinct experiences. Water baptism by immersion is an external act through which anyone who professes Christianity publicly identifies the Lordship of Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

Speaking ‘in tongues’ is biblical, although it is not the only evidence that a person has received the Holy Spirit.

Miracles are real and God through His Spirit does and makes the humanly and scientifically impossible possible.

Every human being, regardless of the circumstance of conception or birth or background or their skin colour, is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.

Correction done in love, acknowledging that each of us is a work in progress and imperfect, and that change is progressive as we yield to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Believers all over the world form part of One Universal Church, consisting of many other churches and ministries who may express their Christian faith differently.

Christ will return the second time.

Our Story

CIC is God’s idea

After seeking God for almost 12 months, God gave our Pastor a glimpse of His purpose for Australia and imprinted on his heart to start CIC to play a role in that agenda, giving him a clear mandate to raise relevant disciples who manifest Christ to their families, communities and the world.

Our Pastor obeyed God

Through CIC people have been saved, experienced the presence of God in an authentic worship atmosphere and discovered who they are in Christ through the preaching of the impactful Word of God and the manifestation of the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit.

Every service at CIC is a special encounter with God and destiny, where the realities of Zion are palpably felt (Obadiah 17; Isaiah 33: 24: Hebrews 12: 22-24)
